Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Housekeeper at Riverside Lodge Care Home in Rickmansworth. You will maintain high cleanliness standards to ensure resident comfort and wellbeing. The role is full-time (35 hours per week) with pay of £13.08 per hour on weekdays and £13.58 per hour on weekends.

The home offers a luxurious setting with dementia and residential care. You will join a welcoming team and contribute to a tidy, safe environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or willingness to learn the necessary skills.
• Positive, caring and respectful attitude towards residents.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a homely, caring atmosphere and maximise residents' quality of life.
• Provide full housekeeping and cleaning duties incl. sanitising rooms and bathrooms.
• Assist with laundry duties and replenish linen and supplies.
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures.

This luxury 75-bed care home offers exceptional residential, dementia and respite care in elegant surroundings, featuring stylish lounges and dining areas, a hair and beauty salon, cinema, café, spacious en‑suite bedrooms, and beautifully landscaped gardens, all in the heart of Rickmansworth.

As a Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming tidy environment, through compassionate and person‑centred approach to supporting resident’s wellbeing.

What You’ll Bring

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• You’ll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised.
• Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste.
• Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies
• Following health and safety policies and procedures.
