Job summary

Quantum Care's Riverside Lodge Care Home in Rickmansworth is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our welcoming team. This luxury 75-bed home provides residential, dementia and respite care, with dining that supports residents' health and dignity.

You will help prepare and serve nutritious meals, assist residents at mealtimes, maintain high hygiene standards and support the kitchen team with cleaning and stock duties.

Qualifications

• Team-focused attitude and good communication skills.
• Experience in food preparation and service preferred, however full training is provided.
• Familiarity with hygiene standards.
• Reliability and good customer service skills.
• Positive, caring and compassionate attitude.
• Ability to follow Chefs' instructions.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and serving of meals.

Hour: Flexi hours per week

Pay: £13.08 per hour weekdays & £13.58 per hour weekends

Shift Times: 10am to 5.30pm - Weekday and alternative Weekends

This luxury 75-bed care home offers exceptional residential, dementia and respite care in elegant surroundings, featuring stylish lounges and dining areas, a hair and beauty salon, cinema, café, spacious en-suite bedrooms, and beautifully landscaped gardens, all in the heart of Rickmansworth

As a Catering Assistant you will support the preparation and serving of nutritious meals, and help create a welcoming dining experience that promotes residents health, wellbeing and dignity.
