Quantum Care's Jubilee Court Care Home in Stevenage is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join a welcoming team. You will maintain high cleanliness standards across the home, ensuring residents live in a safe, comfortable and tidy environment with a compassionate, person-centred approach to their wellbeing.

The role is 20–25 hours weekly, 9am-2pm or 3pm weekends, with enhanced pay on weekends, first-class in-house training, DBS check and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• You must have relevant experience or be willing to learn the necessary skills.
• A positive, caring and respectful attitude towards residents.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene and infection control.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the home and provide a tidy, welcoming environment.
• Provide a full range of housekeeping duties including sanitising rooms, bathrooms and communal areas; change and make beds; dispose of waste.
• Assist with laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies.
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures.

Located in a quiet residential area with excellent transport links, Jubilee Court is a modern, purpose-built 91-bed care home providing residential, dementia and respite care. As a Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming tidy environment, through compassionate and person‑centred approach to supporting resident’s wellbeing.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• You’ll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised.
• Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste.
• Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies
• Following health and safety policies and procedures.
