Quantum Care is seeking a Housekeeper for Mayfair Lodge Care Home in Potters Bar. The role is part-time with flexi/bank hours, roughly 0-10 hours per week, and pay of £13.08 per hour on weekdays and £13.58 per hour on weekends.

Shifts run 9am-2pm or 2pm-5pm, with some weekend rotation. The successful candidate will maintain high cleanliness standards, support residents with a warm, person-centred approach, and work as part of a friendly team in a 62-bed home located in Potters Bar.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or care settings preferred.
• Positive, caring and respectful attitude toward residents.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene and infection control.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic.

Responsabilités

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home to keep residents safe and comfortable.
• Carry out housekeeping tasks: cleaning rooms and communal areas, changing and making beds, waste disposal.
• Assist with laundry duties including linen replenishment.
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures.

We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our welcoming team at Mayfair Lodge Care Home in Potters Bar. Our 62 bed, is set in the heart of Potters Bar with beautifully landscaped surroundings. The home provides a warm, supportive environment where residents and colleagues can truly thrive.

As a Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming tidy environment, through compassionate and person-centred approach to supporting resident's wellbeing.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• You'll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised.
• Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste.
• Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies

• Following health and safety policies and procedures.
