The Alan Hotel in Manchester is seeking a Reservations & Events Executive to join our dynamic hospitality team. You will manage guest and group reservations, coordinate meetings and private functions, and help drive commercial performance across our hotel and events spaces.

Ideal candidates are confident, personable and naturally organised, with experience in hotel reservations, events or sales. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reservations, events, sales or a similar hospitality role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify sales and upselling opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Manage individual, group and corporate reservations from enquiry to confirmation.
• Coordinate meetings, private events and corporate functions from enquiry to delivery.
• Prepare and send proposals, contracts, invoices and event documentation.
• Upsell rooms, food and beverage, meeting spaces and additional services.
• Work with the wider hotel team to ensure bookings and events are delivered seamlessly.
• Build relationships with guests, clients, local businesses and event partners.
• Maintain accurate booking information and update systems.
• Follow up on enquiries and convert opportunities into bookings.
• Support the hotel’s sales and commercial activity.
• Handle guest and client queries professionally and ensure high customer satisfaction.
