Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reservation Sales Agent tojoin our team on a 36 hour per week contract.. The ideal candidatewill play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services bymanaging reservations and ensuring a seamless booking experience forour clients. This position requires excellent communication skills,attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.nTo be responsiblefor selling the hotel and achieving maximum room occupancy at alltimes, whenever possible making additional sales on upgraded packagesor food & beverage options.nTo be able to communicate with customersthrough various methods e.g. by telephone, via email, and inperson.nTo ensure all bookings received are recorded correctly andupdated when confirmed or amended.nTo ensure all correspondence isanswered at once and filed accurately. To be aware of customerrequirements in order to eliminate customer complaints.nTo deal withguest complaints relating to their bookings and communicate theirconcerns to the appropriate manager.nTo assist with training otherTeam Members on the reservations system as requested and to keepaccurate training records.nTo hand over at the end of the shift to theother Revenue Office Team Members, Sales Office Manager or the mostsenior person on Reception Shift, as appropriate.nTo maintain aprofessional working relationship and good communication with theConference & Events Sales Team.nTo provide up-to-date information forall departments as agreed.nTo keep the reservations office/area cleanand tidy at all times.nTo consult with the Sales Office Manager inrespect of group/agency bookingsnTo liaise with the Sales OfficeManager regarding special rates/ discounts where not alreadypre-arranged.nTo attend meetings as required.nTo undertake any otherreasonable project as requested by your Sales Office Manager to growand improve the business.nTo operate I.T. systems in line with Companystandards.nTo attend when required both internal and external trainingcourses.nTo ensure on all occasions you observe safe and hygienicworking practices in order to satisfy Health & Safety at work, fireprocedures and other statutory legislation.nTo be fully aware of andcomply with hotel and Company rules and regulations as detailed in theCompany Handbook, on notice boards and in policies andprocedures.
