Job summary

Village Hotels - Bury is seeking an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to be the operational anchor of the hotel. You will deputise for the General Manager and coach Heads of Department across Food & Beverage, Rooms, and Host teams to smash commercial targets while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

The role drives the four pillars of performance: the commercial engine, people leadership, standards, and culture.

Responsibilities

• The Commercial Engine: drive food costs, wet margins, energy and payroll; adjust payroll to revenue, control stock, and track KPIs for HODs.
• The People Leadership: coach, mentor and performance-manage HODs, fostering internal promotions.
• The Standards: champion Excellence standards, conduct internal audits, ensure ReviewPro and Mystery Dining targets are met in all departments.
