Job summary

Village Hotels - Bury is seeking a Meetings & Events Team Member to deliver high standards across conferences and celebrations. You’ll be the engine of the floor, greeting guests with confidence and ensuring they are looked after from start to farewell.

The role includes setting up spaces to brand standards, handling AV tech, serving food and drinks, keeping areas tidy, and following health and safety rules. If you enjoy teamwork and creating memorable guest experiences, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience welcomed.
• Attitude and energy matter more than CV quality.
• Customer-focused and friendly team player.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and servicing meeting and event spaces to brand standards with attention to detail.
• Handling AV equipment and tech during presentations and events.
• Serving refreshments, meals and drinks with confidence and upselling where appropriate.
• Keeping event spaces organized and safely stored after shifts.
• Complying with Health & Safety, Fire Regulations, Food Safety and licensing laws.
