Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is hiring a Night Supervisor for a stunning coastal resort on Hayling Island, Portsmouth. You will lead the overnight operation, ensuring the hotel runs smoothly and safely during the night.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in hotel night roles, a passion for guest service, and the ability to work independently. The role offers a permanent nights contract with progression opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Night Supervisor, Night Porter or similar hotel role.
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for guest service.
• The confidence to make decisions and work independently.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Good computer literacy; knowledge of Guestline is preferred but not essential.
• Flexibility to work a Monday to Sunday night rota.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overnight operation, ensuring the hotel runs smoothly and safely throughout the night.
• Inspire and support the night team to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Welcome guests, oversee late check-ins and early departures, and handle guest enquiries.
• Carry out security checks and maintain a safe environment for guests and colleagues.
• Resolve guest issues confidently and professionally.
• Complete the night audit and overnight reporting accurately; ensure public areas remain clean, presentable and guest-ready.
• Prepare the hotel for the following day's operations.
• Work closely with other departments to maintain exceptional service standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the hotel during the night, leading the overnight operation while delivering an exceptional guest experience.
