Job summary

Atlas Hotels is seeking a Nights Supervisor for the Stoke location. You will lead a guest-focused night team, check guests in and out when needed, and ensure smooth operations across reception, bar, kitchen prep, and meeting room setup.

You’ll oversee night audits and safety checks, with training provided for hotel-specific practices. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys variety in hospitality duties.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in customer service is required.
• Hotel experience not necessarily required; training provided.
• Comfortable working night shifts and supervising a small team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm Atlas welcome and oversee the night team.
• Coach and develop team members; ensure correct staffing and coverage.
• In the absence of the Nights Team Leader, provide guidance and stay calm under pressure.
• Rotate through tasks: reception, bar service (18+), kitchen prep for breakfast, and setting up meeting rooms.
• Conduct night audits and corridor checks to keep guests safe and well looked after.

• Providing a warm ‘Atlas welcome’ to guests and new employees will be at the heart of what you do
• You’ll need to make sure your Team Members are in the right place at the right time and you will take coaching and development of your team seriously
• In the absence of the Nights Team Leader, you’ll be the person that Team Members look to when they need guidance, so you will need to be nurturing and cool under pressure
• Want some variety? No day (or night!) is the same in our hotels. You could be checking guests in and out on reception, serving behind the bar (so you will need to be 18 or over), cooking food in the kitchen ready for breakfast service or setting up our meeting rooms
• You will undertake night audits and corridor checks to make sure everyone in our hotels are safe and well looked after through the night
