The Milner York, part of RBH Hospitality Management, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our hotel spaces, facilities, and behind-the-scenes areas in pristine condition in the heart of York.

You will perform reactive maintenance, handle guest-critical repairs with safety in mind, and use tools safely to meet COSHH regulations, ensuring minimal disruption to guests and high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a maintenance role, ideally within hospitality.
• Expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks.
• Flexibility for evenings, weekends and on-call duties.

Responsabilités

• Maintaining hotel spaces, facilities and behind-the-scenes areas to ensure pristine condition.
• Carry out short term reactive maintenance with minimal disruption to guests.
• Use, operate and store tools safely and in COSHH-compliant manner.
• Maintain high service, hygiene and safety standards with minimal wastage.
