Job summary

Dakota Manchester is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform a broad range of maintenance tasks across trades. The role supports both guest rooms and public areas, ensuring high standards and compliance.

We offer a full-time contract with a 40-hour week, based in Manchester. The successful candidate will have at least two years in a maintenance-based role and be adept at multi-tasking in a busy hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• At least two years in a maintenance-based role, with cross-trade capability.
• Must be fully computer literate and able to use basic maintenance software or systems.
• Strong attention to health and safety protocols is required.
• Experience in hospitality or accommodation-based environments is advantageous.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately with minimal supervision.
• Pride in high standards of finishing and task completion.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a broad range of maintenance tasks across trades as needed.
• Follow schedules to keep fabric of building compliant and well-maintained.
• Update planned maintenance and project schedules in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Housekeeping Manager to uphold standards.
• Support guest areas and public spaces maintenance and improvements.
