LGH - Best Western Cambridge Bar Hill Hotel is seeking an experienced Hotel Reception Supervisor to lead the front office, ensuring a warm, seamless guest experience and a calm, professional environment for guests and colleagues.

You will supervise daily reception operations, mentor the team, coordinate with Reservations, Housekeeping and Maintenance, handle guest queries, and help optimise staffing and billing accuracy while protecting the hotel’s online reputation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel reception or front office role.
• Willingness to step into a supervisory position.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Teamwork and clear cross-department communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operation of the hotel reception, ensuring high standards of service.
• Support, guide and motivate the reception team, keeping colleagues confident and engaged.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Housekeeping and Maintenance for a smooth guest journey.
• Handle guest complaints and enquiries with calm professionalism and timely resolutions.
• Monitor occupancy and assist with staffing to meet operational needs.
• Ensure accurate billing and payment processes are followed.
