Job summary

The Holiday Inn Cambridge, part of LGH Hotels Management Limited, is seeking a Hospitality Service Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team and uphold exceptional cleanliness standards across guest rooms and public areas.

You will guide daily operations, plan tasks, monitor supplies, and collaborate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure seamless guest experiences in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping and is ready to take on a supervisory or leadership role.
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Communicates clearly, calmly and respectfully with colleagues across departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the housekeeping team, ensuring cleaning standards and service levels are consistently met.
• Train and guide team members, helping them feel confident, capable and clear in their responsibilities.
• Plan daily schedules and allocate tasks effectively, ensuring all areas of the hotel are cleaned efficiently and on time.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering replacements when required.
• Liaise closely with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Report any maintenance, health or safety concerns promptly and accurately.
• Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health and safety standards and procedures.
