Job summary

Daish’s Holidays is seeking a confident Duty Manager to support the smooth operation of our UK hotels. You will lead across departments, respond to guest queries and uphold high service standards, acting as a visible example for the team.

You'll manage staff rotas, wage budgets, and training, while ensuring EPOS systems, cash handling and health and safety procedures are followed. A proactive, customer-focused leader will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Extensive hospitality management experience in hotels.
• Strong guest service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
• Experience with EPOS systems and cash handling.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day hotel operations across departments.
• Lead by example to maintain high service standards.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Prepare and manage staff rotas and wage budgets.
• Train and induct new staff and monitor performance.
• Ensure cash handling, EPOS and health & safety procedures are followed.
