Stonepillow is recruiting two Hostel Support Workers in the UK to support homeless adults with complex needs, including mental health and substance misuse. One role is permanent and the other is temporary maternity cover.

You will provide engagement, signposting and practical support to improve housing, health and wellbeing, while building trust with clients. Working in a team and independently, you will document cases, conduct risk assessments and help clients gain skills for independent

• Excellent verbal and written communication to engage with adults.
• Ability to motivate and inspire clients to participate in activities and plans.
• Calm, proactive approach to challenging situations and safeguarding.

Responsabilités

• Manage case allocation and conduct risk assessments.
• Engage weekly with clients through key work sessions to improve outcomes.
• Support independence and prepare for independent living and housing options.
• Assist with preparing rooms and supporting meals preparation.
• Record incidents and participate in review meetings.
• Promote hygiene, cooking, laundry and self-care skills.
