Cadwyn Housing Association in Cardiff is seeking a Hostel Assistant to join its supported housing team. The role is 28 hours per week, working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 1:00pm to 9:00pm, based in Cardiff.

About the role
Our hostel for families provides support and accommodation to prepare families in securing and maintaining a tenancy. The hostel can be a fast paced environment, where residents are supported with a wide range of needs including domestic abuse, substance mis-use, mental ill health and child protection issues.
As a Hostel Assistant, you will ensure Supported Housing residents and stakeholders are provided with a high-quality service as the first point of contact. The role involves working with tenants who may be difficult to engage with and as such you should have the skills to build trusting and respectful relationships. The role is also key to maintaining safe and secure accommodation for tenants.
