Job summary

Cardiff Council is seeking motivated, customer‑focused individuals to join us as Mobile Hostel Cleaners. You will carry out high‑quality cleaning across multiple homes and communal areas, working across sites as part of a supportive team that prioritises resident satisfaction.

The role is 37 hours per week with a schedule across Monday–Thursday 7:30am–3:30pm and Friday 7:30am–3:00pm. Driving licence and Welsh language ability preferred; full training provided.

Qualifications

• Pride in delivering a high standard of cleanliness.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a Council vehicle.
• Welsh language ability is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communal areas (lifts, corridors, stairwells, external spaces) to agreed cleanliness standards.
• Clean across multiple homes and communal areas across the city as part of a team.
• Provide excellent customer service and act courteously and professionally at all times.
