Job summary

The Ganton Arms in City of Westminster is seeking a friendly, confident Host to welcome guests and set a positive first impression. You will manage bookings, seating, and liaise with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service throughout busy periods.

We value a warm, proactive personality and a passion for hospitality. Previous hosting experience is a plus, and you’ll join a pub known for great food, drinks and a welcoming atmosphere.

Are you a natural people person who loves making guests feel welcome? The Ganton Arms is on the hunt for a friendly, confident and charismatic Host to join our team!

We’re a proper neighbourhood pub with great food, quality drinks and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’re all about bringing people together, creating memorable experiences and making every guest feel right at home from the moment they walk through the door.

What’s the Gig?

As our Host, you’ll be the friendly face of The Ganton Arms, setting the tone for every guest’s experience. You’ll help keep the front door running smoothly, manage bookings and seating, and work closely with the team to make sure every guest feels looked after.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:

• Welcome every guest with a genuine smile and make them feel at home from the moment they arrive.
• Manage bookings, reservations and walk-ins, ensuring guests are seated promptly and efficiently.
• Keep on top of the flow of the floor, communicating with the team to ensure service runs smoothly.
• Know our food, drinks and events so you can confidently answer questions and make recommendations.
• Handle guest queries with confidence, warmth and a can-do attitude.
• Work closely with the management and front-of-house teams to deliver brilliant service every day.
• Help spread the word about The Ganton Arms, our events and private hire opportunities.
• Bring positive energy, stay organised and help create an atmosphere that keeps guests coming back!
