Job summary

Public House Group is seeking an enthusiastic Host to join our hospitality venues. You will warmly welcome guests, assist with seating, and provide friendly, attentive service to ensure a smooth dining experience.

We offer staff meals on shift, a 50% food and drink discount for groups of up to four, and a clear path for career progression with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host or similar role within hospitality.
• Positive and friendly attitude with a willingness to work collaboratively with the team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests.
• Flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests as they enter the restaurant and assist in getting them seated promptly and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest enquiries, offering menu information and assisting with special requests.
• Foster a positive atmosphere by maintaining a friendly, calm and courteous demeanour whilst working in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage waitlists during peak times and manage expectations by keeping guests informed of wait times.
• Collaborative teamwork: communicate effectively with front of house team to ensure a smooth dining experience for all guests.
