Job summary

Brightstar Hospitality Management is seeking a proactive Social Media Assistant / Wedding and Event Coordinator to join our vibrant team in the United Kingdom. You will craft engaging content, capture moments from weddings and events, and help drive bookings and guest engagement across platforms.

You'll work closely with the F&B, Events and Marketing teams to plan campaigns, keep brand tone consistent, and deliver high-quality visuals that reflect our hotel experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience using Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Good photography and basic video editing skills.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to create engaging Reels, Stories and short-form videos.

Responsibilities

• Create, photograph and edit engaging content for social platforms.
• Assist with planning and maintaining a weekly/monthly social media content calendar.
• Capture high-quality photos and videos of events, the hotel and guest experiences.
• Create Instagram Stories, Reels, TikToks and other short-form video content.
• Write engaging captions reflecting the brand's tone of voice.
• Promote special offers, seasonal campaigns, events, weddings and hotel experiences.
• Monitor social media comments, messages, mentions and reviews, responding professionally.
• Encourage guest-generated content and identify opportunities to increase engagement.
• Promote campaigns that drive bookings, enquiries and revenue.
• Work with Food & Beverage, Events, Rooms and Marketing teams to gather content.
