Job summary

Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre is seeking a Financial Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term period. The role involves financial administration across AR/AP and income audit, with a strong focus on data analysis using Excel and reporting tools to drive insights.

Qualifications

• Finance administration experience including accounts payable and receivable.
• Proficient in Excel and reporting systems to identify trends and insights.
• Familiarity with Sage and invoicing platforms for accurate processing.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing posting into the General Ledger for accuracy across events.
• Managing Pelican invoicing and receipting processes end-to-end.
• Conducting income audit and balancing systems to cash, bank and card takings.
• Processing accounts payable invoices and updating the PO tracker.
• Reconciliation of supplier statements and checking commission claims.
• Debt collection liaison with external parties to secure prompt payments.
• Data analysis and reporting to support financial decisions.
