Job summary

Malmaison Hotels is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in the North Region. You will help oversee operational and maintenance activities across hotels, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with safety standards and ESG initiatives.

You will assist with budget tracking, cost control, and reporting while maintaining high standards of property performance and guest satisfaction. National travel is possible, and eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail essential for coordinating daily property operations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for liaising with internal teams and contractors.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards is required.
• Experience with maintenance processes and vendor management preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and property management systems such as CAFM and compliance portals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day property operations and support the Maintenance Managers.
• Assist the Property Manager in leading teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely service and contract adherence.
• Monitor property spend, budgets and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies.
• Support safety audits and ensure compliance with health and building regulations.
