Job summary

Bandai Namco Amusement Europe Ltd in Tamworth is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support day-to-day catering operations. You will clean and tidy as directed, complete opening and closing checklists, restock crockery, help receive deliveries and assist with food prep and pot washing.

You will work closely with front-of-house staff, follow health and safety, food hygiene and allergy policies, and maintain accurate paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all duties as trained.
• Follow all policies and procedures as trained.
• Ensure all paperwork that you are responsible for is correctly completed.
• Always adhere to all Health and Safety legislation.
• Always adhere to all Food and Hygiene legislation.
• Always adhere to all Food Allergy legislation
• Always adhere to Emergency Evacuation and or Lockdown procedures.
• To report any incidents and accidents to management straight away.
• You must be always clean and tidy in your appearance.
• Develop a good working relationship between your colleagues and management.
• Cleanliness of the kitchen
• Carry out cleaning duties as instructed
• Complete opening, during and closing checklists
• Complete relevant daily paperwork
• Carry out replenishment tasks i.e. refilling fridges, re-stocking, prepping
• Help receive deliveries
• Sign relevant training sheets
• Cooking of food accompaniments
• Pass work
• Following instructions from senior staff
• Communicating with front of house staff and other members
• Pot washing
• Emptying bins
• Re-stock crockery items in the kitchen
• Sanitising station
• Mopping station
