Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Casual Hospitality Team Member at Utilita Arena Sheffield. You will deliver exceptional hospitality during concerts, sporting events, and other live entertainment, across restaurants, bars, suites, lounges, and premium dining areas.

You will provide outstanding guest service while upholding food safety and professionalism, representing the venue with enthusiasm and creating memorable experiences for every guest.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and guest experience oriented.
• Friendly, professional with good communication.
• Reliable, punctual and calm under pressure.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Experience in hospitality or events is desirable.
• Food Hygiene certification or bar knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and a friendly welcome to guests.
• Serve food and beverages safely and efficiently using POS systems.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, drinks, and venue facilities.
• Assist with setup, presentation, and operation of hospitality areas before, during, and after events.
• Keep service areas clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout service.
• Follow all food safety, health & safety, hygiene, allergen, and licensing requirements.
• Report any safety, maintenance, or security issues promptly.
• Work collaboratively across teams and support other departments as required.
• Demonstrate flexibility, attend training sessions, and contribute to a positive team environment.

A cornerstone of South Yorkshire’s entertainment scene, Utilita Arena Sheffield has been welcoming audiences since 1991. Purpose-built for world‑class live events, the arena hosts an exciting mix of international music acts, major sporting fixtures, and large-scale corporate events. With a capacity of over 13,000, it stands as one of the region’s premier venues, combining a rich history with a vibrant programme that continues to attract visitors from across the UK.

The Role

As a Casual Hospitality Team Member, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to guests attending concerts, sporting events, comedy shows and other live entertainment at Sheffield Arena.

Working across restaurants, bars, hospitality suites, lounges and premium dining areas, you will provide outstanding customer service whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness and professionalism. You will be expected to represent the venue with enthusiasm, creating memorable experiences for every guest.

The Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and provide a friendly, professional welcome to guests.
• Serve food and beverages safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.
• Process cash and card payments accurately using point‑of‑sale systems.
• Maintain strong knowledge of menus, drinks, promotions, and venue facilities.
• Assist with the setup, presentation, and smooth operation of hospitality areas before, during, and after events.
• Keep service areas clean, organised, and well‑stocked throughout service.
• Follow all food safety, health & safety, hygiene, allergen, and licensing requirements.
• Report any safety, maintenance, or security issues promptly.
• Work collaboratively across teams and support other departments as required.
• Demonstrate flexibility, attend training sessions, and contribute to a positive team environment.

• Well‑presented with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident when interacting with guests and handling customer enquiries.
• Eager to learn, develop new skills, and contribute to a positive team culture.
