Qualifications

• Erfahrung im Kundenservice und in der Gastronomie ist von Vorteil.

Searcys are looking for a Hospitality Assistant to join the team at the British Academy. As a Hospitality Assistant, you will be responsible for providing service excellence to our customers, guests, and clients at events, conferences, and weddings.

10-11 Carlton House, just a stone's throw from the decadent Pall Mall and St James. The Hospitality Assistant will be supporting, monitoring, and serving all food and drinks to customers, clients, and guests, and clearing throughout the event.

Job Type: Full Time / Part time

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that there is clean furniture, dining tables, and chairs available for the guests, with presentation at the forefront of everything you do.
• Clean and polish all cutlery and glasses/crockery for the next event.
• Prepare all hospitality food and beverage requests offered to customers, clients, and guests in designated meeting spaces in a presentable manner.
• Work without supervision and take initiative over duties and tasks without being directed.
• Serve our guests with a genuine and positive demeanor, ensuring all service is efficient and of the highest quality.
• Work on licensed bars serving alcoholic beverages.
• Use coffee machines as required.
• Assist with ordering and deliveries as needed.
• Prepare all hospitality requirements, ensuring all items are available, and report any shortages to your line manager.
• Ensure that any linen and equipment hired for an event is counted and packed away for collection after the event.
• Possess excellent product knowledge (food/beverage).
• Take the initiative.
• Be a supportive team player.
• Exhibit excellent customer care skills.
