Job summary

Lifetime Training, part of Lifetime Group, is recruiting for an apprenticeship Learning Coach to support learners at their place of work and guide them through their apprenticeship standards.

You will coach learners with knowledge, skills and behaviours to meet industry standards, drawing on extensive hospitality experience and your teaching qualifications to enable success.

Qualifications

• Front of house and back of house experience required.
• Hotel and housekeeping preferable.
• NVQ level 2 in Hospitality.
• Extensive vocational experience in food & beverage, reception, housekeeping or beverage service or team leader.
• Ability to work in high demand environments to targets and tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and self-motivation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Coaching learners at their place of work, in the industry, helping them achieve their apprenticeship standard.
• Support learners and employers with knowledge, skills and behaviours required for the standard.

What will you be doing?

Working with learners at their place of work, in most cases for many of the UKs best loved names within the industry, coaching learners on the knowledge skills and behaviours they need to achieve their apprenticeship standard.

What will you bring to the role?

• Front of house and back of house experience required
• Hotel and housekeeping preferable.
• NVQ at level 2 in Hospitality
• Extensive, relevant vocational experience in food & beverage, food production, reception, housekeeping or beverage service or team leader.
• Ability to work in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines
• Strong communication and self-motivation skills
• Ability to working autonomously

It would be great if you had:

• Minimum Level 3 Teaching qualification
• NVQ level 3 in professional cookery or hospitality supervision
• BTEC level 3 hospitality management
• Experience of operating within WBL/education environment
