Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) in Wrexham is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Bias Team Leader in the Engineering, Building & Grounds division. You will provide leadership and technical support to maintenance teams responsible for planned and reactive work, and drive continuous improvements within a hospital setting.

The role is Band 6, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary range of £40,559 to £48,841 per annum.

Qualifications

• Time served with a recognised indentured apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical or Building Services HNC/HND or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Experience in a team leader role, preferably in a hospital environment.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering systems and ability to lead maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, leadership and technical support to maintenance teams for planned work, breakdown repairs and continuous improvement.
• Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
• Lead and coordinate electrical/mechanical bias activities within the Operational Estates department.
