Job summary

Equans is recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves maintenance and repairs of electrical and light mechanical plant at the Acute Hospital, Mental Health unit, and Retained Estate as required.

You will be part of the Estates management team, delivering across lighting, sockets, and theatre shutdown procedures, with a DBS check required. Driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Approved electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Multi-skilling across electrical and mechanical disciplines desired.

Responsibilities

• Undertake improvement work, maintenance and repairs of electrical and non-complex mechanical plant, services and assets.
• Carry out testing including RCD testing and manage theatre shutdown procedures.
• Support maintenance across Mechanical and Fabric disciplines.
• Carry out works in compliance with KPI’s and contract.
• Maintain lighting systems, electrical sockets and related electrical infrastructure.
