Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading healthcare portfolio in North London. You will maintain complex electrical systems within a modern, state-of-the-art facility and contribute to a collaborative engineering team.

The role involves ensuring reliability of power distribution, lighting, emergency power and control systems, with opportunities for further training and career progression. Competitive benefits include 25 days holiday and overtime.

Qualifications

Must have Level 3 Electrical Installations.
City and Guilds 18th Edition qualification required.
Full Driving Licence is essential.
Experience in hospital/medical facility environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hospital electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and control systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical panels, switchgear, transformers, and circuit breakers.
Report issues to line manager in a timely manner.
Escort sub-contractors around the site.
Maintain and test emergency power systems (generators, UPS, ATS).
Respond to electrical faults impacting operating theatres, ICU, and labs.
Record maintenance, inspections, outages and repairs accurately.
