Job summary

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an ADMK Cleaning Assistant for Oak Ward on a part-time basis. The role offers 15 hours per week with core hours Saturday and Sunday 08:00-15:30 and a band 2 salary of £25,272 per annum pro rata.

The post includes a DBS check and probationary period, with not sponsorship provided. The successful candidate will provide high-quality cleaning services to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• General education to GCSE or equivalent.
• Basic food hygiene certificate.
• NVQ level 2 Cleaning.
• Basic infection Control certificate.

Responsibilities

• Suction clean & dust control sweeping.
• Damp and wet mopping.
• Deep Cleaning/Periodic Cleaning: In accordance with hospital policy & work instruction.
• Exit & Terminal Cleans: In accordance with hospital policy & work instruction.
• Other Duties: Curtain changes; Cleaning of cleaning equipment and signage.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is required to carry out duties as instructed to the required standard, to ensure the hospital is a clean, safe and welcoming environment at all times.

• Previous cleaning experience
• Infection control experience
• Previous experience of working in the NHS
