Job summary

St Margaret’s Hospice Care in Williton is seeking a Shop Manager to lead the Williton Shop and drive community-based retail activities. The role is permanent with a salary of £25,596 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) and options for 30 or 37 hours per week across four or five days, including weekends.

You will oversee day-to-day shop operations, deliver excellent customer service and manage a team of staff and volunteers, with recruitment support of shop colleagues as part of your remit.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, ideally in a supervisory or management role.
• Excellent communication skills and high customer service standards.
• Ability to lead, develop and motivate a team of staff and volunteers.
• Able to support the area manager with recruitment of shop colleagues.
