Job summary

St Margaret's Hospice in Williton is seeking a Shop Manager to lead the Williton Shop on a permanent basis. The role offers 30 or 37 hours per week with a salary of £25,596 per annum (pro-rata for part time).

You will oversee staff and volunteers, drive sales and provide excellent customer service to support our hospice services across Somerset. Join a vibrant retail team and contribute to compassionate care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Experience within the Retail industry, ideally from a supervisory or management role.
• Excellent communication skills and high standards of customer service.
• Ability to manage, develop and motivate a team of staff and volunteers.
• Able to support area manager with recruitment of shop colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day running of Williton Shop and drive sales.
• Motivate staff and volunteers to maximise profit.
• Support recruitment processes and staff development.
