Job summary

KLONDYKE GROUP LIMITED is seeking a Part Time Permanent Horticultural Assistant for our Garforth Garden Centre. The role offers 23.25 hours per week over 3 days, with regular weekend shifts and a pay range of £10.40–£12.75 per hour depending on age.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment and merchandising to create plant displays.
• Care for plants to keep them healthy and attractive for customers.
• Advise customers on suitable plants and products to meet their needs.
• Operate tills and serve customers.
• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as required.
• Assist customers with carrying purchases to their cars; collect trolleys and baskets.

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Horticultural Assistant to join the team in our Garforth Garden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £10.40 to £12.75 per hour dependent on age.

The hours for this position are 23.25 per week over 3 days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

The Role

As a Horticultural Assistant, you must have specialist plant knowledge and be able provide excellent customer service & to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases

What you will be doing as a Horticultural Assistant?

• Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
• Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
• Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
• Till operation and serving customers
• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
• Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
• Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
