Job summary

Garforth Garden Centre is seeking a Part Time Permanent Horticultural Assistant in Garforth. The role focuses on plant stock management, customer service, and creating an exceptional shopping experience.

You will replenish stocks, care for plants, advise customers on suitable plants, handle till operations, and assist with parking and cleaning tasks. Weekend shifts are required, with a friendly team environment and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Specialist plant knowledge is required.
• Able to provide excellent customer service.
• Able to advise customers on suitable plants and products.
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays.
• Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are healthy and looking great for our customers.
• Advising customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
• Till operation and serving customers.
• Carrying out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars.
• Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets.
