Garforth Garden Centre is seeking a Part Time Permanent Horticultural Assistant in Garforth. The role focuses on plant stock management, customer service, and creating an exceptional shopping experience.

You will replenish stocks, care for plants, advise customers on suitable plants, handle till operations, and assist with parking and cleaning tasks. Weekend shifts are required, with a friendly team environment and competitive hourly pay.

Job description

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Horticultural Assistant to join the team in our Garforth Garden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £10.40 to £12.75 per hour dependent on age.

The hours for this position are 23.25per week over 3days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

The Role

As a Horticultural Assistant, you must havespecialist plant knowledge and be able provide excellent customer service & to createan exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases

What you will be doing as a Horticultural Assistant?

• Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
• Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
• Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
• Till operation and serving customers
