Job summary

Strikes Garden Centre in the United Kingdom is looking for a General Retail Assistant on a part-time, permanent basis. You will provide friendly, helpful customer service, operate the till, and assist with stock and displays to create an enjoyable shopping experience.

Shifts are 31.25 hours over 4 days or 24.5 hours over 3 days, with regular weekend work and no evening shifts. Training is provided, with benefits including staff discounts and free parking.

The Role

As a General Retail Assistant, you have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.

What you will be doing as a General Retail Assistant?

• Till operation and serving customer
• Stock replenishment and merchandising across all department
• Creating and maintaining fabulous product displays
• Assisting our customer across the Centre taking every opportunity to WOW.
• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
• Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
• Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
