Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living is hiring a Project Worker to join our homelessness service at 3 Charles Street, Grays, Essex. You will support people experiencing homelessness to build independence and access the services they need.

This role offers full or part-time hours, with a competitive hourly rate of £14.57 and a commitment to Flexibility, training, and a values-driven, inclusive workplace where everyone belongs and can grow.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness.
• Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

Responsibilities

• Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential.
• Assess needs and update support plans.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries.
• Build positive relationships that respect choice, privacy and dignity.
• Work with external partners to boost confidence, health and wellbeing, and encourage education and employment.
