Cumberland Council's Housing Options and Homelessness Service in Carlisle is seeking a Homeless Officer to manage a varied caseload across prevention, relief and statutory duties. Join a team focused on partnership working, improving outcomes for residents, and preventing homelessness.

Salary: £35,570 to £36,581 per annum. Hours: 37 hours per week. Location: Carlisle. Contract: Temporary (12 months).
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Cumberland Council's Housing Options and Homelessness Service as a Homeless Officer within the Carlisle locality.
This is an exciting time to join the service as we continue to develop and transform homelessness services across Cumberland, with a strong focus on prevention, partnership working and improving outcomes for residents.
We are looking for motivated, resilient and customer-focused individuals who are passionate about preventing homelessness and supporting vulnerable households.
The successful candidates will manage a varied caseload across homelessness prevention, relief and statutory homelessness duties, working closely with partner agencies and internal services to secure positive outcomes for individuals and families facing housing difficulties.
