Job summary

Homeless Link seeks a Homeless Support Scheme Manager for The Crossings in Preston. You will oversee an expanded service and lead a housing management team to provide safe accommodation for homeless families and support their move to permanent tenancies.

The role is based at The Crossings with 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in a permanent position. We value safeguarding, collaborative working with partners, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering supported housing services and strong housing management knowledge.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge for children and vulnerable adults.
• Excellent relationship-building and multi-agency collaboration skills.
• Calm under pressure with conflict management and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of the expanded Crossings service with 16 flats.
• Lead and develop a dedicated housing management team responsible for tenants.
• Ensure tenants have safe, comfortable accommodation.
• Support residents to progress to permanent tenancies.
