Job summary

The Single Homeless Project is seeking a Service Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering supported accommodation for young people 16+. You will coach staff to run a holistic activities programme with education, training and pre-tenancy elements, in a person-centred recovery framework.

You will oversee service delivery, engagement with local authorities, and multi-agency partnerships, ensuring high quality practice, safeguarding, and health and safety across all schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams and frontline staff.
• Ability to develop and review support and safety plans.
• Knowledge of psychologically informed environments (PIE).

Responsibilities

• Direct team to deliver a consistent, high quality, responsive service.
• Oversee referrals, move-on planning, and life skills training.
• Ensure housing management, health and safety, and safeguarding duties are carried out.
• Promote inclusion, user participation, and partnership working.
• Lead group supervision and staff development.
• Manage property safety, rent collection, and void minimisation.
• Develop staff and volunteers to deliver person-centred support.
