Job summary

Aster Group is seeking a Home Move Coordinator to support customers moving into new homes. You will manage a diverse caseload, build strong relationships with residents and partner agencies, and coordinate relocation plans from initial contact through to settlement.

You will handle accommodation arrangements, decant packages and liaise with local authorities, housing providers and teams to ensure timely, compliant moves while safeguarding vulnerable customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles within housing or asset management.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience supporting customers including those with complex needs.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and tenancy legislation.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for customers throughout the moving journey.
• Build trusted relationships with residents, ensuring they feel informed, supported and valued.
• Develop personalised move plans and decant packages that meet individual needs.
• Arrange accommodation, removals and practical support for a smooth move.
• Coordinate with Housing, Development, Communications, Maintenance and Strategic Asset Management teams.
• Liaise with local authorities, housing providers and partners to identify housing solutions.
• Manage complex cases balancing customer needs, timelines and budgets.
• Lead meetings with contractors and stakeholders to track progress.
• Identify and mitigate risks, protect customer outcomes and organisational reputation.
• Maintain records, manage payments and ensure audit compliance.
