Job summary

Maples Care Home in Bexleyheath is seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead a 75-bed home providing residential, nursing and dementia care. The role focuses on improving governance, building a stable workforce and reducing agency hours while maintaining a warm, homely environment for residents and families.

The successful candidate will have a proven regulatory track record and a background in turning around services, with nurse qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven Home Manager with experience leading a medium-to-large care home.
• Crucial regulatory track record and turnaround experience.
• Nurse-qualified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take full leadership responsibility, creating a clear plan for improvement and remaining highly visible to residents and families.
• Ensure quality governance and hold the leadership team accountable, building a stable workforce and reducing agency reliance.
• Maintain and grow occupancy while aligning regulatory and operational performance with the home’s standards.
• Build strong relationships with CQC, families, healthcare professionals and the wider community.
