Job summary
Compass Associates are exclusive partners to appoint a Home Manager for a large, established 75-bed care home in Bexleyheath, delivering nursing, residential and dementia care. You will lead the service, uphold governance, drive occupancy and commercial performance, and embed a culture of continuous improvement to meet high standards.
The role requires a credible leader with a strong track record in care home management, capable of balancing strategic oversight with hands-on day-to-day
Qualifications
- Proven track record as Home Manager or equivalent senior operational leader.
- Experience leading large care services (nursing, residential or dementia).
- Strong knowledge of CQC, governance and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong, visible leadership across the service.
- Lead, develop and motivate the management team and workforce.
- Drive high standards of person-centred care and resident experience.
- Ensure robust governance, compliance and quality assurance.
- Maintain strong CQC and regulatory standards.
- Lead recruitment, retention and workforce development.
- Manage budgets and resource use effectively.
- Develop relationships with residents, families and external stakeholders.
