Job summary

Compass Associates are supporting the appointment of a Registered Home Manager for a large specialist care home in Kent. The role leads a high-complexity service providing elderly residential and nursing care to residents with complex dementia and challenging behaviours.

The successful candidate will drive quality improvements, lead a strong governance framework and develop an effective leadership team, with a focus on staff accountability and person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of large care or healthcare services.
• Experience with complex dementia care and behaviours.
• Track record improving regulatory compliance and service standards.
• Ability to develop teams and embed accountability culture.
• Experience in budgeting, commercial performance and service improvement.
• Comfort leading change with a person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen governance, safeguarding and CQC compliance.
• Drive improvements in care quality and resident experience.
• Develop an effective leadership team and staff accountability.
• Reduce agency reliance and improve workforce stability.
• Manage budgets, occupancy and overall financial performance.
• Lead refurbishment while maintaining continuity of care.
• Build relationships with families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
