Job summary
Aviva invites applications for a Home Claims Technical Consultant, based in Glasgow or Perth. You’ll join the technical claims team, providing specialist advice, development and support to our Home Claims colleagues across the UK.
This role sits with the Major & Complex Claims (MCC) group and focuses on resolving complex home insurance claims and raising technical capability. You’ll coach others, write best practice guidance and lead technical improvements that improve customer outcomes and cost
Qualifications
- Strong home claims experience in desk-based or field roles, with site experience and customer interaction advantageous.
- Strong technical knowledge of insurance principles, building repair processes, fraud and recoveries.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop others.
- Ability to investigate and interpret complex technical information and reach evidence-based conclusions.
Responsibilities
- Support and develop Home Claims teams across the UK within the MCC group.
- Coach others, write best practice guidance and lead technical improvements for customer outcomes and cost performance.
