Job summary

Valley Care Direct is recruiting Health Care Assistants in the Hull area to join our established community teams. You will provide compassionate care in clients' own homes, supporting daily living, mobility, meals, and personal care.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided. We offer flexible full- and part-time shifts, paid mileage, DBS paid for, and opportunities for promotion and career progression within a family-style team.

Qualifications

• Must have right to work in the UK.
• Driver's licence and access to vehicle preferred.
• No prior care experience required but compassion and communication essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with mobility challenges to maintain independence.
• Support with administering medication.
• Perform domestic tasks: making beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry, and emptying commodes.
• Assist with eating and drinking by preparing meals and drinks.
• Provide personal care including washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• Support with use and care of aids and equipment, and contribute to end-of-life care when needed.

We are looking Health Care Assistants to join our already established teams in the local communities of:

• Orchard Park
• Orchard Park - Compass Road
• Cottingham Road
• The Avenues
• Beverley High Road
• (surrounding areas)

We have both full and part time positions available forcare workers. Working shift patterns of:

• 7am - 3pm
• 3pm - 10pm
• All staff are required to work alternate weekends

You’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives in their own homes.

Job Description:

• Helping service users overcome any mobility
