Valley Care Direct is recruiting Health Care Assistants to join established teams in local communities in and around London. We offer full and part-time positions with regular hours and a competitive hourly rate.

Roles involve mobility support, medication assistance, domestic tasks, meal preparation, and personal care. Training and induction are provided, with opportunities for promotion and progression within the company.

Qualifications

• Have a right to work in the UK.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
• No previous experience required; demonstrate real compassion and strong communication.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, respectful care.

Responsibilities

• Help service users with mobility and everyday tasks.
• Assist with administering medication.
• Domestic tasks such as making beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning and laundry.
• Prepare meals, snacks and drinks for service users.
• Assist with personal care including washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• Support end-of-life care as needed.

We are looking Health Care Assistants to join our already established teams in the local communities of:

• Orchard Park
• Orchard Park - Compass Road
• Bricknell
• Cottingham Road
• The Avenues
• Beverley High Road
• Beverley Road
• (surrounding areas)

We have both full and part time positions available forcare workers.

Working shift patterns of:

• 7am - 3pm
• 3pm - 10pm
• All staff are required to work alternate weekends

Job Description:

• Helping service users overcome any mobility
• Support with administrating medication.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
• Our home care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Contribute as needed to a person's end-of-life care

Requirements:

• Have a right to work within the UK
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred for this role
