Job summary

Valley Care Nottingham is hiring Community Care Workers to support clients in Nottingham NG5/NG6/NG8 with trusted in-home care. The role offers guaranteed hours, a competitive £13.00 per hour wage, and a mileage allowance of 35p per mile. Full paid induction, DBS check, annual leave and a company phone are included.

We welcome applicants with or without prior care experience; training and ongoing development are provided, along with opportunities for progression and funded qualifications.

Where You’ll Be Working

We are recruiting Community Care Workers to join our established teams covering:

• NG5
• NG6
• NG8

Full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Typical shifts include:

• Morning shifts: 7:00am–3:00pm
• Evening shifts: 4:00pm–10:00pm

About the Role

As a Community Care Worker, you’ll help people live safely and independently in the comfort of their own homes, supporting their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.

Your duties will include:

• Supporting people with personal care, including washing, bathing and toileting.
• Assisting with mobility and use of mobility aids.
• Supporting with medication in line with care plans and your training.
• Preparing meals, snacks and drinks and assisting with eating and drinking.
• Helping with household tasks, including laundry, changing bedding and light cleaning.
