Job summary

Valley Care Derbyshire is recruiting Care & Support Workers to help people live independently at home in Hope Valley and surrounding areas. We offer both full-time and part-time roles with comprehensive induction and ongoing training to support your success.

As a Care & Support Worker you’ll provide person‑centred care, assist with daily living, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and companionship, with career progression opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity and respect.
• Supporting mobility and safe use of equipment.
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking.
• Prompting or administering medication.
• Light household tasks, including cleaning and laundry.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Encouraging independence and helping access the local community.
• Delivering compassionate end-of-life care where required.
• Keeping accurate care records and reporting wellbeing changes.
